CB James Bradberry: Falling

Bradberry made his first Pro Bowl in 2020, and had arguably the most dominant season of his career.

However, through two weeks, the NY Giants are still waiting for Bradberry to make that kind of impact in 2021.

Last week, against Washington, offensive coordinator Scott Turner was actually trying to scheme wide receiver Terry McLaurin into one-on-one situations against Bradberry … Showing just how little opponents fear him this season.

McLaurin caught a touchdown against Bradberry and finished with 11 catches for 107 yards and a touchdown.

While Bradberry did pull down a clutch fourth quarter interception off Taylor Heinicke last week, Pro Football Focus says quarterbacks have produced a 110.4 passer rating when targeting him.

The NY Giants are going to need much more from Bradberry, especially facing a gauntlet of receivers in coming weeks that includes Calvin Ridley, Marquez Calloway, Amari Cooper, and CeeDee Lamb.
