With Darius Slayton and Sterling Shepard being ruled out for the remainder of this weeks game against the Falcons things could be opened up for these Giants players to get some shine.

Two of the NY Giants’ top wide receivers were knocked from Sunday’s game against the Falcons with hamstring injuries, as Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton were ruled out during the first half.

After the Slayton’s hamstring Injury that has ruled him out for the rest of this game things could be opened up for first round pick Kadarius Toney.

Toney entered Week 3 with only two total targets on the season, the Giants will be forced to incorporate him more into the offense against Atlanta. Especially after what seemed to be a promising pre game warm up.

Toney could get more opportunities in the slot, especially with Shepard also ruled out.

Another NY Giants player who could be set up to have big plays is veteran C.J Board.

Board had a huge 38 yard catch in the first quarter of Sunday’s game. Board is a nice deep threat player who could replace Slayton in that aspect, and could also contribute on special teams.

NY Giants offensive coordinator Jason Garrett will now be forced to figure out a niche for both Board and Toney, keeping Board in that role and target him in deep one-on-one coverage.

With Shepard now being ruled out this now opens up even more opportunities for both deep and short routes for the veteran.
