Daniel Jones Overall Grade: B

Daniel Jones gets a firm ‘B’ grade for Week 3’s game.

Jones didn’t do much wrong on Sunday, but he missed some throws and chances that were there for the taking. He had a clean, crisp, and efficient game with 24/35 completions for 266 yards with no touchdowns but no interceptions either.

The Giants only found the end zone once Sunday courtesy of Saquon Barkley. Jones did his best work all game driving from the Giants’ 20-yard line to the Falcons’ 20-yard line. Unfortunately, Jones and the offense weren’t able to get it done multiple times in the red zone yesterday and wasted another 4th and 3 opportunity from the Falcons’ 39-yard line.

The missing points on the board held Jones back again this week. Eventually, he and the offense needs to come together and start finding ways to finish drives and close them out with 7 points. Jones was decisive all over the field, even adding another 39 yards on the ground rushing. The NY Giants need to start getting more from their receivers. They are letting Jones and the offense down with no separation created and a consistent lack of yards after the catch.

Daniel Jones needs more help in this offense. Until then, it will be up to him to help snap the offense’s cold streak and find a consistent groove.

Hot. Key takeaways from NY Giants' disastrous loss to Falcons. light
