NY Giants P Riley Dixon: DUD

When Judge decided to punt from midfield with, 1:50 remaining, it probably wasn’t the right decision, but it was a decision that probably wasn’t made with the possibility Dixon would drill the punt out of the back of the end zone, either.

But, that’s exactly what Dixon did, in a pivotal moment of the game.

Dixon’s gaffe set the Falcons up to open their final drive from the 20-yard line, rather than possibly pinning Matt Ryan and Co. deep inside their own territory.

Seven plays later, the game was over, and the Falcons were flying home with their first win of the season as the NY Giants were forced to conduct yet another postmortem of the 90th loss since the confetti swirled in Super Bowl XLVI.
