Week 8 – NY Giants at Kansas City Chiefs

Chiefs team defense ranking: No. 30
Analysis:

Even amid a “sluggish” start on offense, the Chiefs are still averaging 30 points per game, Patrick Mahomes has already passed for 940 yards with nine touchdowns to just three interceptions.

Kansas City has lost by a combined seven points in their two defeats against the Los Angeles Chargers, and Baltimore Ravens — two teams with strong cases as AFC Playoff teams.

Each week, it becomes increasingly difficult to envision the NY Giants’ offense lighting up the scoreboard and being able to keep pace with Mahomes and his bevy weapons.

Even if the Chiefs aren’t firing on all cylinders to date, Arrowhead Stadium remains one of the more difficult environments in sports.

Prediction: LOSS
