Add depth to the linebacker core

After Blake Martinez suffered a season ending ACL injury in Week 3 against the falcons, the Giants current linebacker core is looking very questionable.

The best move the Giants can make to make an upgrade at this position is to sign Jamie Collins.

Collins was recently cut by the Lions after they attempted to trade him. He can become a key piece of this Giants defense if, he winds up signing.

in 2020 Collins played 14 games. In those 14 games he tallied 101 total tackles, 1 sack, 1 interception, 6 tackles for loss, and 3 QB hits.

These are very solid numbers for the former pro bowler.

If the Giants were to bring in Collins I believe he would do a very solid job at replacing the production that Blake Martinez usually gives.
