Some of the NY Giants’ biggest stars led the way in New York’s biggest win of the season, a Week 4 upset of the New Orleans Saints

Coming into week 4, the NY Giants seemed like they were in trouble. With no Darius Slayton, Sterling Shepard, Ben Bredeson, or Blake Martinez, New York needed to really pull together if they wanted to beat the 3-1 Saints.

The Giants were able to come together and overcome an 11 point deficit with seven minutes remaining in the 4th quarter to send the game into overtime, and eventually win the game.

The NY Giants had many rough patches during this game, including a missed 35 yard field goal from Graham Gano, ending his streak of made kicks at 37. But after the best offensive performance we have seen from the team all year they were able to come out victorious.

Here are the 3 players who deserve game balls for their performances against the Saints

Honorable Mentions:

NY Giants WR Kenny Golladay

This was without a doubt Kenny Golladay’s best game as a Giant thus far.

Tallying six receptions for 116 yards including a huge 23 yard catch in overtime to set up what would be a Saquon Barkley game winning run. He came up big this game when we needed him most.

Kadarius Toney/John Ross:

See what happens when you give your explosive first round pick the ball?

Take notes Jason Garrett.

After having undeniably the best game of his pro career so far it seems as if Kadarius Toney’s usage in this giants offense will only continue to rise as the weeks go on.

Toney finished the game with six receptions for 78 yards including an absolutely electric run after catch in the 4th quarter where he could just not be taken down.

This was John Ross’s first game as a Giant and he sure didn’t disappoint. Tallying three receptions for 77 yards and a TD.

Ross burst onto the scene in the 2nd quarter, catching a 52 yard bomb from Daniel Jones for a TD. He also had a big 17 yard catch in overtime to help bring the Giants closer to victory.

Dexter Lawrence:

After a disappointing start to the season it only seemed like a matter of time until Lawrence eventually came back to his normal self.

Lawrence ended the game with a season high 6 combined tackles, which also tied his previous career high, a tackle for loss, and a pass deflection in 79% of the total snaps played.

He came onto the scene early in the game when on 2nd and 10 on the Saints first possession of the game where he came up and made a huge tackle on a screen play for a loss of 3 yards.
