The NY Giants are coming off one of the biggest victories the franchise has seen in the past three seasons, and aim to carry momentum into a monumental clash with the Dallas Cowboys

Sunday presents quite the opportunity for the NY Giants, against the Dallas Cowboys.

Led by quarterback Dak Prescott, running back Ezekiel Elliott, wide receiver Amari Cooper and a defense headlined by rookie Micah Parsons, the Cowboys are firing on all cylinders and sitting atop the NFC East.

However, fresh off a victory in New Orleans over the Saints last week, the Giants would pull within one game of the division lead, if they were able to pull off a second consecutive upset.

Here are three bold predictions for Sunday’s NFC East clash between the NY Giants and Dallas Cowboys:

1) Saquon Barkley surpasses 200 all purpose yards

He’s back.

Last Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, Saquon Barkley was a driving force, especially late, in the NY Giants’ upset win in overtime over the New Orleans Saints.

Barkley rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown, while adding five catches for 74 yards, and a 54-yard score.

Throughout Sunday’s game, Barkley looked as explosive and elusive as he has since returning from a 2020 torn ACL, and as he continues to gain confidence in his surgically repaired knee will only continue to be a vital cog in the NY Giants’ offense.

The Cowboys’ defense enters Week 5 allowing 81 rushing yards per game, and 336 passing yards per game. Sunday’s victory showed that the Giants’ offense is its most efficient when it funnels through Barkley, which could mean he sees an even expanded role in the passing game against the Cowboys’ vulnerable passing defense.
