Daniel Jones

Surprise?

This goes without saying, as a quarterback’s play is crucial to any team that’s seeking victory.
This game is especially important for Jones though, as he’s gained plenty of national media attention following his 400+ yard effort in the Giants’ comeback win over the Saints on the road.

At 1-3 going into Dallas, who’s 3-1, this is make or break for the Giants if they want to stay in the race for the division. Assuming Jason Garrett keeps the playbook open and allows Jones to air it out again, there’s no reason the Giants shouldn’t be able to at least keep pace.

Once again, the Giants are without Shepard and Slayton, but that didn’t stop Jones from shredding a formidable Saints defense in week 4, getting the most out of Golladay, Kadarius Toney and even John Ross.

The Cowboys defense has performed fairly well against the pass, but if Jones wants to continue to prove to be the Giants long term answer at QB, he has to have a repeat performance in week 5.
