Kadarius Toney’s ejection for throwing a punch late in Sunday’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys marred what was a prolific performance from the NY Giants’ rookie

During an after-play scuffle between the NY Giants and Cowboys, Giants first round pick Kadarius Toney threw a punch at Cowboys safety Damontae Kazee.

This punch came in retaliation after he was shoved to the ground by Kazee.

While it was in retaliation, that does not make this okay.

Toney is young so he will get a slight  pass for now but in the future he needs to learn to be professional during that situation.

NY Giants head coach Joe Judge was seen criticizing Toney very loudly after this scuffle.

Tony Toney was having an amazing game, tallying 10 receptions for 189 yards. Throughout a gutty performance, Toney showed he is already a great receiver in this league after Sunday.

What’s next for NY Giants’ Kadarius Toney after throwing punch?

It is currently unknown if Toney will be suspended for next weeks game against the Rams. But as of right now, it is a possibility.

The NY Giants already have a very tough matchup against the Rams, who are 4-1 on the season. If Toney misses next weeks game, alongside the injuries to other key players, the Giants could be in more trouble than they already will be.

If Toney wants to be taken seriously in this league he needs to learn to be more mature. Hopefully this was just a heat of the moment occurrence and we wont be seeing anything like this from Toney again.
