NY Giants WR Kadarius Toney: STUD

It isn’t a stretch to say injuries absolutely decimated the NY Giants’ receiving corps.

With Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton out with hamstring injuries, for the second consecutive week, and Kenny Golladay knocked from Sunday’s contest with a knee injury, it was Kadarius Toney’s time to shine.

Thrust into the role of the NY Giants’ go-to receiver, Toney didn’t disappoint.

Toney flashed explosiveness, and elusiveness in the open field, rattling off catches and runs of 35 and 25 yards in the first half, en route to a game-high 10 catches for 189 yards.

if Golladay is forced to miss significant time, and for as long as Slayton and Shepard are sidelined, Toney is going to have to be the most dependable target in the NY Giants’ receiving corps. Toney is the type of player who can be used in a multitude of ways, out wide, from the slot, in the backfield, or even from the wildcat, as he showed Sunday.
