NY Giants RB Devontae Booker: STUD

With Barkley knocked from the game in the first quarter, Booker became the NY Giants’ feature back for much of the game, and played like he’s capable of handling that role.

Booker finished with 42 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown pass.

An MRI will reveal the severity of Saquon Barkely’s ankle injury, but it would seem highly unlikely that Barkley would be available for next Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. If that’s the case, and moving forward as long as Barkley is sidelined, Booker looked Sunday like the type of running back who is capable of shouldering the load as the NY Giants’ lead-back.
