NFC East’s #4 team: NY Giants

As previously mentioned, it’s been more of the same for the NY Giants in 2021, with injuries and close losses defining the opening portion of the season. After all of the money spent in the offseason, it’s awfully tough to justify the early returns this team has produced.

Losses to Washington Football Team with their backup under center and the Atlanta Falcons are black marks on the record. They could have just as easily been wins, but New York has had difficulties finishing the job under Joe Judge dating back to last season when they lost three games by less than field goal to Philadelphia, Washington, and Tampa Bay.

Daniel Jones has not been the issue in 2021, with six touchdowns (two on the ground) to just one interception on his record. With him out of the lineup, Mike Glennon is a sitting duck under center on a team that could be bound for a top pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Luckily, it appears as though Jones will be active again this season, with the possibility of playing this Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams still on the table.

Let’s just hope his top weapons (Saquon Barkley and Kenny Golladay) will join him, otherwise this year could be going nowhere fast.

Just like the last several.
