The Bad from Week 6

Where do we even start?

Injuries will be the main theme here. Saquon Barkley and Kenny Golladay were ruled out as expected, Darius Slayton missing a 3rd straight game, and a curious Quincy Roche healthy scratch despite being productive and disruptive last week in Dallas.

From there, it got much worse.

Kadarius Toney got on the first drive of the game on just his third catch. He seemed headed towards another electric and exciting game.

Andrew Thomas went down at left tackle. Thomas was quickly ruled out and done for the game as he collapsed on the floor. From there, Matt Peart was a disaster as Daniel Jones’ blindspot.

Speaking of Jones, three interceptions and two fumbles (one lost) will not cut it no matter the excuses. He threw two bad interceptions today that was painfully similar to many of his in the past. Jones looked a bit hopeless in the pocket today as it collapsed and was blown up seemingly every pass attempt. Aaron Donald was an unblockable force all over the Rams’ defensive line today.

C.J. Board went down with a hand injury as well. It was again the 2021 NY Giants’ never-ending injury marathon. Their entire offense has been utterly decimated by injuries to the point where this season was over by Week 5. It’s frustrating, but the truth is the Giants seem headed towards another future with far more questions than answers.
