Dump

Carter has not made an impact whatsoever for the NY Giants this season.

To date, Carter has zero sacks, just one quarterback pressure, with one interception and 16 total tackles.

In some respects, Carter’s disappointment is emblematic of Gettleman and the NY Giants inability to build a dominant pass rush. The NY Giants haven’t spent significant money in free agency on an edge rusher, hasn’t used a first-round pick on the position, and Carter hasn’t reached his potential since rupturing his Achilles tendon last season. It really is imperative that the NY Giants bolster the pass rush this offseason.
