NY Giants schedule: How many winnable games remain in 2021?
By John Makuch
Week 9: vs Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders were a team with so much potential but have become derailed by a disgusting situation with former head coach Jon Gruden.
The controversy surrounding their coach affected them against Chicago, and this team needs to find their identity fast as their record sits at 4-2.
Vegas will be coming off a bye week coming into this game, making them rested for this road trip to New Jersey to take on a Giants team that might have a second win.
Derek Carr has had a stellar season so far, and he has led the Raiders to the third-most passing yards in the entire NFL up to this point.
Running the football has been their issue this year with them placing in the bottom three in rushing yards per game, so the Giants will have to capitalize on this fact for this matchup.
The NY Giants also give up the fourth-most yards in the NFL, so one of these has to give in this matchup.
This matchup should be a shootout in Metlife Stadium, and is winnable if the Giants get a bit healthier and their offense plays up to par.
Vegas has the advantage in this matchup for sure, and they should be expected to win but the Giants have a bit of a chance in this one.
