3) Kyle Rudolph catches his first touchdown in an NY Giants uniform

The NY Giants believed they were getting a red zone weapon when they signed Kyle Rudolph, who could cure some of what has ailed this franchise inside the 20-yard line over past several seasons.

Through six weeks, Rudolph hasn’t been any sort of weapon at all.

Catching just eight passes for 79 yards so far this season, Rudolph has been a virtual non-factor. Even as Evan Engram continues to try to find a role in Jason Garrett’s system.

This week, the Panthers arrive, tied for the third most touchdowns allowed to a tight end by any defense this season, surrendering half a touchdown per game to the position.

Rudolph might finally find pay dirt against Carolina.
