NY Giants key No. 2: Contain the Panthers receivers

The Panthers have an elite duo of receivers in D.J Moore and Robby Anderson that the NY Giants are going to need to slow down.

Moore is breaking out as an elite receiver this year. Tallying 40 receptions for 513 yards and three touchdowns. Moore has looked fantastic so far this year and has become a true number 1 option. He is going to be very difficult to slow down.

Anderson has had a bit of a slow start to the season. Only tallying 15 receptions for 190 yards and two touchdowns. This slow start however, does not mean he is not a threat. He still has elite speed that makes him very difficult to guard, especially in the deep game.

With the NY Giants ranking sixth in total yards allowed, fifth in passing TD’s allowed, and 7th in yards allowed per play, they are going to have a difficult time containing these two receivers.

The Panthers are without Christian McCaffrey this week. With that in mind this will be the best opportunity for the NY Giants secondary to finally step up and give the Giants a chance to win.
