NFC East’s #3 team: Philadelphia Eagles

A week after pushing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the brink on an exciting Thursday night game that saw Jalen Hurts bring the team back from a multi-score deficit to cover the spread, the Philadelphia Eagles were soundly beaten by the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7, despite a fourth quarter comeback attempt that made the scoreboard misleading regarding how close the game was.

Hurts continues to do what he can for the Eagles, though, ending up with 297 all-purpose yards and a touchdown on Sunday.

It doesn’t sound like his efforts are completely appreciated, though, with Adam Schefter suggesting Philadelphia should upgrade at the QB position:

"“They’re going to have, right now it looks like three first-round picks in the top 20, two in the top 10. So they are going to be armed to do what they want to do this offseason. Deshaun Watson, Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers could be available. So to me, before you do anything, those are the first three names you have to get answers on.”"

It’s looking like another potentially lost season in the City of Brotherly Love, which has won just one postseason game since raising the Lombardi Trophy in 2018. Hurts clearly isn’t seen as the answer, making him somewhat of a lame duck signal caller this season.
