Patrick Graham’s Playcalling:

After what seemed to be a return of a great defense last week against the Panthers, it seems as if Patrick Graham may finally be returning to his old ways.

To start the season the NY Giants’ defense looked awful, looking like one of the easiest defenses to play against in the league.

This was because of Graham’s new defensive system.

To start the season Graham changed the defensive system to a zone-heavy defense. However, the zone he runs has been the downfall of the NY Giants defense.

The zone the NY Giants run relies on the defensive backs being 3-5 yards off of their receivers.

This may limit big plays, but it makes it very easy for teams to just simply march down the field.

However, it seemed that last week against the Panthers, Graham somewhat went back to his old ways and it showed. Only allowing 117 passing yards against the Panthers.

If Graham decides to stick to his old ways of calling plays the NY Giants have a very good chance of slowing down this struggling Chiefs offense.
