Daniel Jones leads a depleted NY Giants offense into Kansas City, but can a resurgent defense pull off an upset over the Chiefs on Monday Night Football?

The NY Giants are coming off one of their most complete outings of the season, a blowout win over the Carolina Panthers, and now take the national stage against Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kansas City’s defense is reeling, ranked 28th in the league, entering Monday night, but can Daniel Jones and the NY Giants’ offense, without running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver Kenny Golladay, both out with injuries, keep pace?

The answer to that question just might decide Monday night’s outcome.

Here are three bold predictions, and a score pick for NY Giants vs. Kansas City Chiefs:

NY Giants produce a season-high in total offense

Daniel Jones will take the field without at least two of his most vital offensive weapons; running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver Kenny Golladay, but still has the chance to have a productive evening.

That’s because the Chiefs’ defense has struggled to stop anyone this season.

Kansas City enters Monday night allowing 404 yards per game, including Tennessee absolutely going off for 334 yards last Sunday and allowing 499 to the Washington Football Team the prior game.

Meanwhile, Jones is coming off one of the guttiest performances of his career, and leads a Giants offense that against the New Orleans Saints produced a season-high 402 yards, albeit with Golladay and Barkley both healthy.

However, given the Chiefs’ struggles, and first-round pick Kadarius Toney apparently on track to play, Jones’ improvement in recent weeks could have New York primed to surpass 410-plus yards against Kansas City.
