2. The NY Giants defense had dropped interceptions

Mahomes now has 10 interceptions this season, and luckily he doesn’t have more than that since the Giants defense couldn’t keep the ball in their hands.

NY Giants cornerback James Bradberry was close to picking off Mahomes, but couldn’t quite hold onto the ball.
It has costed the NY Giants multiple games already, and was a part of the reason it cost them this one too.

Also, Mahomes threw a pick to Darnay Holmes but it didn’t count because Oshane Ximines was offsides. Besides the dropped interceptions, this side of the ball played well and held the Chiefs offense to 20 points.
