They are undisciplined

Watch Joe Judge in his first press conference.

Judge was filled with fire and he was yelling. All he talked about was accountability and taking responsibility for your actions. There has been very little of this from anyone, with the exception of defensive coordinator Patrick Graham.

The NY Giants are actually ranked 15th in the league in penalties about mid-pack. Their penalties have been back breaking however and they have cost games. They come at inopportune times when good teams realize it is crunch time and discipline is foremost.  Dexter Lawrence Week 2 against Washington. Oshane Ximanes offsides last week against Kansas City.

Now, one penalty does not define a game but it points to an undisciplined team. Judge can have his players run as many laps as he would like but until they stop beating themselves it will not matter.
