NY Giants game balls from upset win over Las Vegas Raiders
NY Giants RB Devontae Booker:
Devontae Booker played one of the best games of his six-year career.
Tallying 21 carries for 99 yards and 3 receptions for 23 yards against his former team, Booker flirted with being the NY Giants’ first 100-yard rusher of the season.
Booker showcased his capabilities as a RB1 in Saquon Barkley’s absence. Running with energy and power he pushed the NY Giants offense down the field play after play.
When the NY Giants originally signed Booker at the beginning of free agency I was very confused since we could have re-signed Wayne Gallman. However, after his recent performances it is shaping up to be a good move.
With Barkley likely coming back after the bye week we will see a decrease in Bookers snaps. However, he showcased he can be a very solid interim RB if they NY Gaints ever needed him.
In a game in which the NY Giants committed to running the football Devontae Booker shined.
