NY Giants EDGE Azeez Ojulari

Viewed by many NFL talent evaluators across the league as one of the “steals” of the NFL Draft, Azeez Ojulari suddenly finds himself in the NFL Defensive Rookie of The Year conversation.

And, deservedly so.

Ojulari has played his way into a starting role along the NY Giants’ front seven, and been a disruptive force.

Not only is Ojulari generating consistent pressure, 21 of them to be exact, he’s also getting home, producing six quarterback sacks through nine games.

With 20 total tackles and one forced fumble, Ojulari is playing at a starter-caliber level and might finally be the kind of homegrown pass-rusher the NY Giants’ defense has lacked in recent years. Ojulari might also be one of the few blue-chip players currently on the roster.

NY Giants finally admit one of Dave Gettleman's biggest draft mistakes. light. Trending
