With it being unknown if current NY Giants center Nick Gates will be able to play football again, New York may want to consider looking for a replacement.

Tyler Linderbaum would be their best option in this scenario.

Linderbaum is without a doubt the best center prospect in the entire draft, having a PFF grade of 94.0 with subgrades of 94.9 in run blocking snaps, and a 72.4 in pass-blocking snaps.

According to PFF, he is the best center prospect they have evaluated since they began their college evaluations back in 2014.

Linderbaum is a 6’3 and 291-pound center, who the NY Giants may desperately need.

Watching his film, he is one of the best run-blockers in the college ranks, using his elite speed and athleticism for an offensive lineman to decimate opposing defenders. If the NY Giants were to take him in this draft, he would be an instant impact player.
