Stingley, similar to Thibodeaux, might be a player who is not going to be available when the NY Giants make their selection.

However, if he is still on the board the NY Giants should consider drafting him.

With a secondary that is lacking outside of James Bradberry and Adoree’ Jackson, the NY Giants are more than likely going to select a defensive back in this year’s draft, whether it be in the first round or later.

Stingley is an absolute stud of a corner that any team would be lucky to have. However, he has dealt with injuries during his last 2 seasons of college. Only playing 7 games in 2020, and has been sidelined indefinitely with a foot injury after 3 games this season.

However, this does not take away his ridiculous potential.

In Stingley’s freshman season he garnered 38 combined tackles, 6 interceptions, and 15 pass deflections. Gaining the highest PFF grade among defensive backs in this season.

If Stingley can reach his potential he is going to be a star in this league, and if he is still available when the NY Giants are making their selection they should consider selecting him.
