The NY Giants will aim to right the ship, and derail a division rival’s playoff hopes, Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles at MetLife Stadium
After an embarrassing loss against the Buccaneers, alongside the firing of offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, the NY Giants are seemingly looking at a lost season.
However, playing a rival in the Philadelphia Eagles, alongside the jersey retirement of NY Giants legend Michael Strahan, the NY Giants need to do all they can to secure a win. With that being said, they need to rely on some things to have a chance to win.
Here are 3 keys for the NY Giants to have a chance to beat the Eagles this week:
NY Giants key No. 1: Change of offensive playbook:
Jason Garrett was not a good offensive coordinator, we already know that.
However, with it seeming likely that Freddie Kitchens will take the reigns as the new NY Giants offensive coordinator for the remainder of the season. We can expect some changes to the way the NY Giants play offense.
This is something the NY Giants desperately need. Ranking 26th in total yards, 28th in passing TD’s, and 28th in rushing TDs’. When you consider the talent the NY Giants have on offense, this is unacceptable.
Even if Freddie Kitchens makes some slight changes to the offensive playbook, we should see some improvements. This is likely to occur with QB Daniel Jones being seen wearing a play call wristband during practice this week.
