NY Giants key No. 3: Player health:

The NY Giants are entering this week with a multitude of injuries, here is the full injury report:

FB Cullen Gillaspia (calf) OUT

WR Sterling Shepard (quad) OUT

TE Kaden Smith (knee) OUT

TE Kyle Rudolph (ankle) Doubtful

WR Kadarius Toney (quad) Doubtful

RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) Questionable

WR John Ross (quad) Questionable

The NY Giants are yet again going to be shorthanded at the receiver position, with it seeming likely that they will only have 4 active receivers in Kenny Golladay, Collin Johnson, John Ross, and Darius Slayton, this could become very troublesome.

With Kadarius Toney, the NY Giants most deadly receiver, likely not playing, the NY Giants are going to have to rely on Golladay to finally step up and prove that he is worth that massive contract the NY Giants gave him during this off-season.

Another issue will be the lack of tight ends this week, with the only active tight ends being Evan Engram and Chris Myarick.

Outside of the fact that the NY Giants will be missing a receiving threat in Kyle Rudolph, the NY Giants also use both Smith and Rudolph to assist Nate Solder with blocking. Without them we can expect another week of struggle for Solder.

Trending. NFL sources say these are most likely Dave Gettleman replacements. light
