NY Giants TE Evan Engram
Despite a recent uptick in usage, and targets, it would seem both Evan Engram and the NY Giants would benefit from a change of scenery.
Whether Engram was being held back by former offensive coordinator Jason Garrett’s reluctance to push the ball vertically or his struggles a product of not living up to expectations will likely clarify itself over the final six weeks of the season.
But, Engram hasn’t surpassed 60 receiving yards in a single game all season but is viewed around the league as a playmaker in the passing game.
The combination of limited cap space and Engram’s ineffectiveness in the offense over the past five years will likely lead to a tight end-needy team signing Engram this offseason.
