Round 3, pick No. 69: Thayer Munford, OG, Ohio State

Doubling down on offensive line help in the draft would be a worthwhile, and needed investment to give the NY Giants’ playmakers a boost.

Munford is one of the premier offensive guards in the Big Ten and top players at the position in this year’s class.

A powerful guard with sound fundamentals, Munford’s 6-foot-6 and 320 frame combined with his athleticism give him a high-ceiling at the next level, and a plug-and-play starter along the NY Giants’ offensive line.

Playing in the Big Ten, in a system like Ohio State’s, should prepare Munford for a smooth transition to an NFL offensive line.
