Round 3, pick No. 73: David Ojabo, EDGE, Michigan

Ojabo’s strong second half of the college football season has seen the Wolverines’ edge rusher rising up NFL Draft boards, so there’s a chance he’s long gone by this pick.

However, should he slip, Ojabo would be exactly the kind of dynamic playmaker the NY Giants have lacked from a pass-rush standpoint in recent years.

Ojabo, 6-foot-5 and 250-pounds, ascended into the starting lineup this year after a very limited role in 2020, making a significant impact.

This season, Ojabo reached double digit sacks, 11, while producing 33 total tackles, five forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery this season.

Given Azeez Ojulari’s immediate impact, Ojabo could be an ideal addition to the NY Giants’ pass-rush rotation and give New York a suddenly deep and explosive set of young edge rushers.
