NY Giants injury report for week 13 matchup against the Dolphins
Can the NY Giants knock off the Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon, with Daniel Jones — and many other key players sidelined due to injury?
The NY Giants face a Miami Dolphins squad that is coming off the heels of a 33-10 victory against the Carolina Panthers last week, but will be depleted on offense.
With Daniel Jones out, and several other key contributors listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game, this could prove to be a daunting task for the Giants.
Here is the NY Giants’ full injury report for week 13:
Adoree Jackson’ (Quad) OUT
Kaden Smith (Knee) OUT
Daniel Jones (Neck) OUT
Sterling Shepard (Quad) Doubtful
Kadarius Toney (Oblique/Quad) Doubtful
Cullen Gillaspia (Calf) Questionable
John Ross (Illness/Quad) Questionable
Kyle Rudolph (Ankle) Questionable
Nate Solder (Elbow) Questionable
Obviously the biggest blow to the NY Giants this week will be the loss of Daniel Jones, who suffered a strained neck in last weeks victory against the Philadelphia Eagles. Alongside Jones is Adoree’ Jackson, who injured his knee early on in the same Eagles game. DB Darnay Holmes also injured his chest during this game and was placed on IR.
With it being unlikely that Kadarius Toney and Sterling Shepard will play, the NY Giants will have to rely on Kenny Golladay, Darius Slayton, Pharoh Cooper, and if he can play, John Ross. With the NY Giants having only 4 active receivers this week, we could see a continuation of the offensive struggles we have seen all year.
The NY Giants also just announced that they are placing TE Kaden Smith and OLB Trent Harris on IR.
Injuries have been a huge part of the NY Giants lack of success throughout the season, with more and more injuries piling up it will be difficult for the NY Giants to have a chance to win in the upcoming weeks.
