The NY Giants aim to upset the Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon, but will need to do so without quarterback Daniel Jones, out with a neck injury

The NY Giants face a tough opponent in the Miami Dolphins Sunday afternoon.

The Dolphins are coming off the heels of a 33-10 victory against the Carolina Panthers in which they forced 3 turnovers and held the Panthers to 198 total yards. With the NY Giants facing a multitude of injuries, we could see some struggles out of this team.

To make matters worse, Daniel Jones is out with a neck injury.

Here are 3 keys for the NY Giants to beat the Miami Dolphins this week:

NY Giants key No. 1: Mike Glennon

With Jones OUT this week due to a neck strain, backup QB Mike Glennon will be stepping up to the plate to lead this Giants offense.

Glennon has only played in 1 game this season, that was week 5 against the Cowboys. In this game Glennon completed 16 of his 25 passes for 196 yards, 2 interceptions, and 1 TD.

This is not ideal, at all. However, against a Miami Dolphins defense that has given up the most passing yards in the NFL, while also giving the 7th most passing TD’s. Glennon may not be in that much trouble.

However, it is worth noting that Glennon is 2-15 in his last 17 starts. So while Glennon is facing a bad passing defense, he needs to be on his A game if the Giants want a chance to win.
