NY Giants key No. 2: Player health

As previously mentioned, the NY Giants are facing a multitude of injuries this week.

Here is the full injury report:

Adoree Jackson’ (Quad) OUT

Kaden Smith (Knee) OUT

Daniel Jones (Neck) OUT

Sterling Shepard (Quad) Doubtful

Kadarius Toney (Oblique/Quad) Doubtful

Cullen Gillaspia (Calf) Questionable

John Ross (Illness/Quad) Questionable

Kyle Rudolph (Ankle) Questionable

Nate Solder (Elbow) Questionable

Obviously, the NY Giants missing both Jones, Kadarius Toney, and Kenny Golladay, are huge blows to the offense.

However, with the NY Giants missing both Adoree’ Jackson, alongside Darnay Holmes being placed on IR after last weeks win against the Eagles, the NY Giants will be short-staffed in the secondary.

As of right now the NY Giants only have 3 active cornerbacks in the form of James Bradberry, Keion Crossen, and Aaron Robinson, this is something that could become very problematic.

Alongside the lack of CB’s is a lack of WR’s. With the NY Giants only having 4 active receivers in the form of Darius Slayton, Kenny Golladay, Pharoh Cooper, and if he plays, John Ross.

Injuries have been a staple of this Giants team this season and we will likely continue to see the team struggle due to these injuries.
