The NY Giants’ quarterback room took another significant hit, as Mike Glennon suffered a concussion against the Dolphins, starting in place of Daniel Jones

The injury besieged NY Giants have added another significant injury in a season full of them; backup quarterback Mike Glennon suffered a concussion during Sunday’s loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Glennon, making his first start — and second appearance — of the season, in relief of Daniel Jones, who was out with a neck injury, is the latest addition to a mountain of injuries New York has had to deal with this season.

Sunday afternoon, Glennon was just 23-of-44 passing for 187 yards and an interception, in a listless and uninspiring 20-9 Giants loss.

If Glennon is unable to play next week in Los Angeles against Justin Herbert and the suddenly high-flying Chargers, and Jones remains sidelined, the NY Giants would be forced to play Jake Fromm at quarterback.

Fromm, signed by the NY Giants this week following Jones’ injury, has yet to play an NFL game after being chosen in the fifth-round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills.

Following Sunday’s loss, the NY Giants sit at 4-8, holding up the rear in the NFC East standings.
