With Blake Martinez having to come back from a torn ACL, alongside the lack of any legit linebackers currently on the NY Giants roster, the NY Giants should heavily consider taking LB Nakobe Dean out of Georgia.

Dean ranks No. 1 among linebackers in PFF grades with a 91.8. Alongside that, he has tallied 61 total tackles, five sacks, two interceptions, and five pass deflections. All while leading the best defense in college football.

Something that Dean has that the NY Giants desperately need is the ability to play in pass coverage. The NY Giants desperately need this out of their linebacker spot with Tae Crowder and Reggie Ragland both being bad in that area.

In 252 coverage snaps, Dean has a 90.5 pass coverage grade by PFF. If this can translate to the NFL the NY Giants could land a future superstar in the linebacker position.
