The NY Giants are expected to be without Daniel Jones for the third consecutive week Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys

Daniel Jones is expected to miss a third consecutive game, still undergoing tests for a neck injury that left him sidelined against the Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Chargers, but the NY Giants might deploy two quarterbacks Sunday.

As the Giants enter Sunday’s NFC East clash at 4-9, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Mike Glennon is expected to start against Dallas but Jake Fromm might see some snaps.

“We did a lot of work on him,” one NFL personnel executive recently told FanSided of Fromm, on the condition of anonymity to speak freely about a player on another team. “And, honestly, at best, he’s just a guy.

“He doesn’t have a lot of arm strength, he isn’t mobile, he’s just not an NFL quarterback.”

Fromm was signed one day after Jones led the NY Giants to victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, but suffered a neck injury in that contest.

Jones has since seen specialists in Los Angeles as well as the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan, but is still not cleared for contact.

Meanwhile, Fromm has yet to make an NFL start, or appear in an NFL game.

Glennon has completed just 53.3 percent of his passes in three appearances this season, passing for 574 yards with three touchdowns to four interceptions.
