You have got to see NY Giants’ Saquon Barkley’s ridiculous catch vs. Cowboys
Running back Saquon Barkley made one of the more impressive catches of the season, for the NY GIants, Sunday afternoon against the Dallas Cowboys
Highlights have been few and far between for Saquon Barkley this season, but the NY Giants’ running back made one of the more ridiculous catches you’ll see, early in Sunday afternoon’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Barkley, sent out to initially block, released just as Giants quarterback Mike Glennon spun to throw a screen pass in his direction and Barkley somehow picked the ball out of the air on a one-handed catch by what appeared to be the tip of the football.
The reception only went for two yards, and likely will have little impact on the outcome, as the NY Giants settled for a field goal on the possession, but it was a play that will certainly be memorable during what has been a forgettable 2021 campaign.
Through the first quarter of Sunday’s contest, Barkley rushing for 31 yards on seven carries and adding the two-yard catch. Barkley has been limited for much of this season by an ankle injury suffered back in Week 5 against the Cowboys.
At the end of the first quarter, the NY Giants trailed the Dallas Cowboys 6-3.
