Candidate #5: Dallas Cowboys Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore

Lastly, the NY Giants could nab a rival coach from a rival team. Kellen Moore would be another intriguing name to look at as the Giants’ next head coach. Moore is a former college and NFL quarterback who was best known for his intelligence on the field and his football IQ translated towards a so-far highly successful coaching career.

Moore has been the Cowboys’ top offensive coach for 4 years now. He came straight out of retirement as the Cowboys’ backup QB right into their quarterback’s position coach, a somewhat unusual situation in the NFL. It only took one year for Moore to showcase his coaching potential to be promoted to Offensive Coordinator.

From there, he’s coached some of the highest-scoring and most dangerous offenses in football. He’d be another interesting name for the NY Giants’ head coaching gig.
