NY Giants WR John Ross

The NY Giants have no long-term commitment tied to John Ross.

Ross signed a one-year deal, worth $2.25 million, and when he has been on the field, he’s shown the ability to be a deep threat in an offense that sorely needs one.

Through 10 games this season, Ross has caught 11 of 19 targets for 224 yards and a touchdown. NY Giants quarterbacks have a whopping 117 passer rating when targeting the former first-round pick.

While Ross has been productive, he also hasn’t been on the field enough to potentially warrant a massive payday elsewhere.

If Ross finishes strong, there’s a chance that the NY Giants could give him the opportunity to return on a long-term deal and expand his role in future seasons, especially if he wants up being a more cost-efficient option than someone like Slayton or Sterling Shepard this offeason.
