TE Evan Engram
There might not be a player on the NY Giants’ roster who would benefit more from a change of scenery, than Evan Engram.
Fortunately for Engram, who once again has failed to make the leap to becoming a reliable and dominant weapon in the passing game, the former first-round pick is still viewed favorably and as a matchup nightmare by front office decision-makers around the league.
Engram has caught 40 of 56 targets this season for 375 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Even without eye-popping production, Engram’s first-round pedigree and athleticism could put him in a position to cash in on a contract mirroring the ones Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith signed last offseason with the New England Patriots.
Look for a team with a young quarterback, needing a tight end to potentially offer top-dollar to Engram in free agency.
