3 young NY Giants players who will play key roles vs. the Eagles

DB Julian Love:
With the NY Giants secondary getting hit with COVID, Julian Love is set to play a high amount of snaps yet again this week, with this lack of secondary, he is going to have to step up big time.
Love is an excellent tackler, tallying 53 combined tackles with only a 5.4 missed tackle percentage and 60% of snaps this season.
However, with this great tackling ability comes a struggle in coverage, while Love has not been as bad in coverage this season as he has been in the past, he has still not been all that great, allowing a 65.7% completion percentage, 219 yards, and 2 TD’s in 14 games.
Last week against the Cowboys, Love tallied 10 combined tackles, and one completion on two targets for 19 yards in 72% of snaps, these are very solid numbers for the former 4th round pick.
Facing an Eagles offense that ranks 24th in passing yards, and 25th in passing TD’s thrown, this is a great opportunity for Love to have a big game, as he is going to seemingly need to with there being only 6 active DB’s this week.
The last time the NY Giants faced the Eagles, Love garnered 6 combined tackles, and only allowed 1 completion on 2 targets for 0 yards, playing 100% of the defensive snaps.
If Love can have somewhat of a repeat performance this week, the defense will surely benefit and increase the NY Giants chances of success mightily.
