Drafted in 2018 in the third round, Lorenzo Carter has all the tools to be a great pass rusher in the NFL, he however has disappointed since his arrival.

Carter showed what he is capable of Sunday against the Cowboys, he had a fantastic game, two sacks, and was all over the field.

The problem is it is too little too late. Drafting Azeez Oljulari and the emergence of free agent pick up Quincy Roche should make the decision to let Carter walk an easier one. The organization was built on defense especially linebackers, Carter, unfortunately, failed to live up to the standard.
