Omari Cobb

This is a very underrated name you have not too much about.

Cobb was an undrafted free agent signed by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020. He was ultimately cut after the Chiefs felt drafting William Gay and playing Darius Harris was a better for the club. Cobb a 6-foot-4 and 223-pound linebacker had a very good college career at Marshall.

Cobb is only 24 years old and if given some time in the 2022 preseason the NY Giants may have found a diamond in the rough. Injuries to  Blake Martinez, too much inconsistency along with injuries with Lorenzo Carter and Oshane Ximines may spell their time in blue as over.

The NY Giants not only will need depth at linebacker but quality depth and Cobb may fit that role.
