Round 4, pick No. 110: EDGE Sam Williams, Ole Miss

With the NY Giants pass rush struggling this season, it is likely that they look to improve in this area. A good candidate to help improve this area of need is Sam Williams out of Ole Miss.

Coming in at 6-foot-‘4, 265 pounds, Sam Williams dominated the competition all season long at Ole Miss, tallying 47 combined tackles, 13 sacks, 8 QB hits, 40 QB hurries, and 4 forced fumbles in 13 games played this season.

Sam Williams possesses elite strength and some solid pass rush moves off the edge, making him a deadly threat for opposing offensive lineman.

One of the only weaknesses I could really find with Williams is he sometimes has a bit of a lack of burst off the edge, this can hurt his chances to be a consistent pass rusher but with his size and strength, he can still have a chance to be a dominant pass rusher in today’s NFL.
