NY Giants Edge, Quincy Roche

Quincy Roche could prove to be one of the most intriguing players on the NY Giants roster in 2022.

Roche, a sixth-round selection in the 2021 draft was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Eventually, after being released on waivers, he found his way to the New York Giants. And the connection seems to be going well.

Early on in the season, Roche struggled to find himself a spot in the defensive rotation. But as time has progressed, he has slowly gained more playing time. In the past three weeks, he is yet to log less than 30 snaps per game. He has also made his presence felt in the run game where he currently has a PFF grade of 69.1.

While playing in just 356 snaps, Roche has made his presence felt on the Giants defense. In the 13 games that he has appeared in, he has recorded 22 tackles, one forced fumble, and three sacks. He has also made a fair amount of big plays.

The pair of Roche and Ojulari could prove to be a great duo and foundational pieces for this defense. If the two can build off of each other and continue to progress at similar rates, they can help turn this defense around.
