Ben Bredeson: KEEP

Nick Gates: KEEP

It’s somewhat astonishing that four years after Dave Gettleman vowed, upon his arrival as NY Giants general manager, to rebuild New York’s offensive line, and now his successor’s top priority will be mining four new starting offensive linemen.

Andrew Thomas is one of the few cornerstone players on the offensive side of the ball, but the rest of the offensive line is in drastic need of an overhaul.

Ben Bredeson has been a nice addition to New York’s line, allowing just one sack and garnering a 79.4 run-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus.

Nick Gates was off to a strong start and seemed to provide much-needed stability at center, prior to suffering a season-ending leg injury in Week 2.

Matt Peart struggled to see the field and seemed to regress, perhaps an indictment of being overdrafted as a third-round pic in 2020.

The NY Giants will own two top-10 picks in the 2022 NFL Draft, and it wouldn’t be all that surprising if both are used on bluechip offensive linemen.
