Guard Laken Tomlinson

San Francisco 49ers guard Laken Tomlinson would bring a consistency to the Giants’ offensive line that they desperately need. He played in every single snap for the 49ers offense this season and played at a high level.

While the New York Giants do have two picks in the first ten selections of the draft, there is no guarantee that they use both of them on the offensive line. Bringing in someone like Tomlinson would allow for them to not have to do that.

Throughout the 2021 season, Tomlinson has allowed just two sacks while playing in 1094 snaps. He also has a PFF grade of 76.0, which puts him at the 12th best guard in the NFL.

While the Giants aren’t in the best position cap space-wise, there are still routes to where they could sign a player of Tomlinson’s ability. If they choose to go all-in on one or two high-quality players, Tomlinson could be that player for them.
