1. Brian Flores

Flores is the candidate on the New York Giants’ list with the most recent head coaching experience, and could be a frontrunner for the job.

Schoen and Flores crossed paths for two seasons with the Miami Dolphins, so there is some built in alignment there.

Over the past two seasons, Flores’ Dolphins finished both seasons strong, winning nine of their final twelve games in 2020 and eight of their final nine this season, despite missing the postseason both years, it is evident that Miami played hard for Flores.

Perhaps the one hurdle that could prevent a Flores-New York Giants union is the fact that he is such a fiery head coach, and it could be a tough task to get the locker room to buy into that style of coaching in the aftermath of Joe Judge’s old school, fiery ways.
